Student Support for Digital Learning

Record Yourself

Pre-recording lessons using screen sharing features allows you to tailor instruction to specific strategies. Students then have the flexibility to watch, or rewatch, lessons as needed.

Photos of Anchor Charts

Anchor charts are wonderful quick reference guides in the classroom. In a virtual experience, you can include photos of charts as "materials" in Google Classroom or review them as part of your recorded lessons.

Student Work Samples

While we don't want to hinder creativity, providing examples of student work gives a guide for student creation. Examples also provide context for abstract lessons and support student thinking without you telling them they are on the right track.

Choice Boards

Choice boards are my go-to for differentiation because it allows students to decide what works best for themselves. You can provide choice in content, production, depth of knowledge and more. Checklists can provide students support and guidance for using the choice boards.
